Will you repair a solar system your company did not install?
Yes. American Solar & Roofing services solar systems installed by other companies, including orphaned systems whose original installer is no longer in business.
Your equipment may still have an active manufacturer warranty. We’ll help determine what’s covered before recommending repairs or replacements, so you can make an informed decision about your system.

Do I still have a warranty if the company that installed my system is gone?
Possibly. Your solar equipment may still be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty even if the company that installed it is no longer in business. Panels, inverter, and other equipment warranties are separate from the installer’s workmanship warranty.

Why did my electric bill go up even though I have solar?

Why is my electric bill still high in the summer even though I have solar?

Can I add critter guard to a system I already have?
Yes. Critter guard can be added to most existing solar systems to help keep birds and other animals from nesting underneath your panels.
If animals are already nesting under your panels, the area should be cleared and cleaned before the guard is installed. American Solar & Roofing can handle both the cleanup and installation.
Do I need to remove my solar panels to have my roof repaired?
Sometimes. If the repair is beneath or near your solar panels, they may need to be removed so the roofer can safely access the area. Repairs elsewhere on the roof may not require removal.
